7ICCH - THE SEVENTH INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS ON CONSTRUCTION HISTORY
The 7th International Congress on Construction History (7ICCH) was held in Lisbon from 12 to 16 July 2021. It was organised by the Portuguese Society for the Study of Construction History (SPEHC), the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon, and other partner institutions.
The theme of the congress was History of Construction Cultures, and it brought together researchers from around the world to discuss the history of construction, including techniques, materials, machinery, processes, and construction cultures.
In total, the event featured 206 scientific papers authored by 311 contributors affiliated with institutions in 30 countries, and it attracted more than 370 participants representing 40 different nationalities.
The conference proceedings were published by CRC/Balkema & Taylor & Francis in two volumes, comprising a total of 1,618 pages. They are available in open access via Routledge / Taylor & Francis Open Access Books.
O 7th International Congress on Construction History (7ICCH) realizou-se em Lisboa, de 12 a 16 de julho de 2021, organizado pela Sociedade Portuguesa de Estudos de História da Construção (SPEHC), pela Faculdade de Arquitetura da Universidade de Lisboa e outras instituições parceiras.
O congresso teve como tema History of Construction Cultures e reuniu investigadores de todo o mundo para discutir a história da construção, das técnicas, materiais, máquinas, processos e culturas construtivas.
No total, o evento contou com a apresentação de 206 artigos científicos, de 311 autores afiliados a instituições de 30 países, reunindo mais de 370 participantes de 40 nacionalidades diferentes.
As atas do congresso foram publicadas pela CRC/Balkema & Taylor & Francis, em dois volumes com um total de 1618 páginas. Estão disponíveis em acesso aberto através da Routledge / Taylor & Francis Open Access Books.
